Today I was going through some pictures of Dakar.
As you might know Dakar is the capital of Senegal and it is a big city!
So here are some addresses I recommend:
If you are looking for a hotel I advise you to book a room
at the Novotel.
It is well located, the service is very good and and it has
recently been renovated.
Hungry? You should definitely go to the french cultural
center of Dakar where you can eat, watch movies, etc.
PS: try the hamburger and bissap juice (well know drink in
Africa made of dried red flowers, delicious!)
For supper I suggest restaurant ‘La Fourchette’ (near to
the Novotel).
Searching for a place to drink? Then I advise you to go to
Café de Rome, a little terrace located in the center of Dakar.
Just like Obama the house of slaves on the Gorée island is a
historical site that is worth visiting!
